Logitech Webcam Software or other programs unable to install and get stuck on the installation?

Sometimes when we install some application in Windows and it get stuck or hang in the middle of the installation whenever we try it again and again or uninstall another program but to no avail the problem still persist. Recently, i was installing the Logitech Webcam Software on my Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit PC, but  it got stuck in the middle of the installation and the installation took forever to finish.  Here's one of the solution on how to get rid this hassle.  Booting Clean in Windows 7, Vista, XP, ME and 98 Booting clean is a way to eliminate programs from conflicting with installation of software.
